This year, Program Director, Rachel Forbes, presented at the CSWE Distance Education Conference.  The Conference was the second of its kind and was held in Indianapolis, IN.  The 3-day event showcased social workers from around the world who want to learn more about hybrid, online and distance social work education.  This is the second year that Rachel presented at the conference.

Last year, Rachel presented on the development of the Western Colorado MSW Program. The opportunity was awarded for Rachel to come back this year, but instead, Rachel focused upon the use of administrative strategies to promote faculty engagement in distance education.

With DU’s GSSW program broadening our online offerings, Rachel’s presentation was highly relevant to our current program.
